ok,
so the Malibu must be on opening day then?

b/c I remember almost always playing that card the day after Christmas or close abouts.

Yeah, it is traditional for SA to open on the 26th with the Malibu. Seems like it is often one of the best races of the year.

I like The Big A. I make most of my money in the winter. I love Hollywood, Santa Anita and The Big A.

i was much the same.
I dont even want to talk about Hollypark now though.
Friday night racing at Hollypark during the summer used to be one of my favorite things in all of life.
now, I dont even know if I will bother to watch.

always.

people want to hate on Aqueduct,
but its there from the time the Breeders Cup momentum ends to the time of the Kerby Derby trail ends.
the months and dates are not glamarous, but they are important.

i'll take Aqueduct(inner or outer) over just about any track in the country.

YES, YES, YES!!!

I <3 you 'pent..

I hate Belmont. Hate it. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and scenic and all that, but it feels more like a museum than a racetrack, and it's impossible to get to. Plus I almost always get my ass kicked on their races.

Aqueduct though.. Aqueduct is my home away from home, and although it may not be as aesthetically pleasing as Belmont, it's got a much more welcoming feel on the inside and it actually feels like a racetrack!

I can't stand the inner track meet, and almost never play it, but I'd rather spend a day at AQU than at BEL almost anytime.
