Tragic. Very sad.
I read a few of the non-racing media articles about this. More than one identifies Baze as "having just ridden Nehro to a 2nd place finish in the Kentucky Derby." In fact, one article make this mistake, and then one paragraph later states he hadn't ridden in a race since April. I mean, is it really THAT hard to get simple facts correct? Of course, the non-racing media also still refers to any son of Dynaformer as "Barbaro's half-brother."

Very very sad news. The kid had his whole life ahead of him, it's a damn shame. Condolences and sympathies go out to his family.

Wish someone who had seen him not moving in the car had bothered to wander over to the car to check it out in the morning, rather than the afternoon. That really bothers me.
