It sounds like if you can't figure it out, then it sucks. You complain about Gulfstream, you complain about Keeneland, I have heard you complain about California, but NYRA is always perfect. Hilarious. Why don't you just bet NYRA if you don't like anything else. |

There used to be nothing but wire jobs. Wire jobs are boring anyway. It sounds like you can't figure out the poly. |

I don't want to get into the middle of the polytrack arguement. It appears to be a very intense topic here. However, as far as this one element -- I am sure there are many who feel we've gone from one extreme to the other. Perhaps. There was one extreme before. Now there is the other. Things are not always as they appear. Before, the track was what the track was -- period. From talking to a variety of people, I get the impression that this is something of a "work in progress" type of thing.
Don't forget that aside from the polytrack, the turns were changed and other elements as well. The turns are now symmetrical. There is quite a bit at play here, with the track being a huge factor, I think there will be changes as time goes on. I think there is a learning curve here -- for handicappers, trainers, jocks, etc. Anomalies, extremes, etc. are distored early in the life cycle. In addition, having not followed the meet religiously, I would be interested in analyzing the "speed" as it relates to splits, times, fractions. I think that will change over time and can also take away from the new bias that exists. Eric |

Its more boring than the old bias was, the only difference was that at least talented horses won back then. I look at the turf races there as the only races that are bettable. |

I'm not overly concerned (read not at all) about who cares what I think. Keeneland is my favorite racetrack. Spent many delightful days there. But I've laid off the main there because it's just pure gambling and I'll pass on that. I asked a simple question. That's all. You apparently have no answer. That's fine. I'm not a big Cali guy, I just don't follow the circuit. Doesn't fit my schedule and other reasons. I happen to be a fan of Gulfstream and I've noted here that I like the place a lot. On big days it's not a comfortable place and unless you're connected you won't get a decent chair in the place for under $75. But the track itself is beautiful and you can't beat the weather you'll get there. Got there at least two dozen times last year. As far as chalk, I'm far from a chalk player. You can pull up my Derby post from the Thursdasy before the race or find the Tampa post where I took down 50% of the pool. You're basically wrong about everything you said. That's ok. You and it don't really matter. |

Thats the pot calling the kettle black! Remember "nothing about the chalk today at Belmont?" When's the next post of you announcing your leaving again? I guess thats the only drama I like to hear.
