WE’RE PROBABLY TALKING TO SOME TURK IN A COMPUTER LAB AT CAL POLY. ALL THESE TURKS DO IS CONTROL AND BRIBE THEIR WAY TO POWER. IT’S GOING TO TAKE MORE THAN ANOTHER TRY TO GET ZENYATTA PREGNANT WITH THESE HAGGLING TURKS WANTING MORE MONEY. YOU THINK JERRY WANTS TO NEGOTIATE WITH THESE THUGS? JERRY HAD ENOUGH DEALING WITH THEM AT A&M. ZENYATTA DON’T NEED THIS. THE TURKS WANT HER TO RUN SO THEY CAN SUCK MORE MONEY OUT OF THE SYSTEM. NEXT THING YOU KNOW SHE’LL BE WEARING A BURKA.

Scuds also had a later post there when he again railed against the Turks.

The Youtube links are best left to pros like Coach.

What I find humorous is a mare who was reviled by so many, drilled by so many, called all sorts of names, elicited big sighs of relief at her retirement, still has managed to fill up 4 PAGES of comments on this thread.

And, they say she didn't bring in new fans.

With much editing, I was able to fix what you were meaning to say.

How kind of you. First of all, you misspelled "retarded", but look who did this.

You have NO IDEA what I was trying to say. You'd have to have some idea about a horse to be in the ballpark. That's not incuding a hot dog and coke.

IC - I called you on an article that said Zenyatta was going to the Beldame last year. An article you posted here. It said nothing of the sort. Sour grapes looks right at home on you. Keep up the good work.

Actually, I did know what you were trying to say. Now though, I'm not so sure what you are trying to say, with your 'incuding a hot dog and coke' zinger. Huh?

Do you lack any sense of subtlety?

Do me a favor please. Change your user name away from that poor old great horse that you constantly defile with your amazingly dim wit.

HAHA even the way people defend their insanity on that site is through more insanity. I almost just fell out of my chair on this one.

Sorry, normally I do not lower myself to respond to ignorant people who have yet to evolve. However, yes – Dottie is the spokesperson. Zenyatta herself is not speaking, in words. However, animals are intelligent, USE tools, are sentient, are capable of problem-solving, are far more aware than most people ever will be throughout their lives, and – if you know anything about a horse, and their wild instincts, you might know that a horse, like a cat, is the only domestic animal that can revert to the wild. This is not conjecture – these are scientifc, biological facts, that have been proven through many years of research, and the research continues to prove even more. Did you know that whales actually have individual names for each other, and they call each other, by their names, using a very complex mode? Do you know anything about the wild horse’s family mode – how important family and freedom are to them? Truly, I think Dottie is right on – and she can ascertain many things about Zenyatta, through their relationship. There is a mode of communication between people & animals, and THAT has been proven again, and again, and again. The people who post here, are compassionate, OPEN to further education, are a support system, and are the type of people others feel happy to have in their lives. Your negative comments are deplorable. As far as Rachel Alexandra goes – I am happy that she is still in foal. She was a tremendous race mare, and I am sure she will be a good dam….However, one just needs to go back and view her last year, ESPECIALLY her last race – and see the agony (boy, were the whites in her eyes prevalent) as Borel repeatedly hit her – to know that – the people responsible for her – treated her – pretty much the way your post goes….Oh – but I am sure you never noticed that. Actually, I feel really sorry for Rachel Alexandra. Her spirit was broken that last year. And, as far as people like you ( I would NEVER do a negative post on Rachel’s site – I have too much class) – I encourage you to – educate youself, grow up – stop the stupid, inane competition (there is room for many great ones), and above all – please realize that condescending comments, based on small thinking.. will never prevail. I thank you.

I feel like I'm on the PETA site.

What Would BARBARO Do? said:

OMG, I’m so sorry Zenniegirl. It wasn’t in the stars. I will light some candles for you and set up a prayer virgil. I will fast until you become with child. The lord who took BARBARO away from us is sometimes unjust, but he works in strange ways. Now, I believe that BARBARO was meant to be the horsie-husband of Zennie. Why else would he take away this foal. Bernardi was the winner in the Preekness, ONLY because BARBARO lost his life under suspicious cirscumstances. The Mooses should breed Zennie to LENTENOR or NICANOR, then she would be in foal immediately. This needs to be done.

Hey Zen! I’ve been doing lots of planning the past few weeks and my absence had to be on your mind. It’s ok! Rest assured that I have enough food and water to survive 36 months in case everything falls apart! And just remember that if things get perilous in your neck of the woods that all you have to do is close your eyes and neigh three times and I will enter your mind and guide you to Fort Lacie!! T.I.C.!

I probably should have avoided the temptation to post on this topic but anyway....I completely understand why folks think the "love affair" among hardcore fans of Zenyatta is over the top...probably is. But the posts on a board dedicated to her cause nobody any harm, why attack people who feel a deep personal connection to the horse? It's not as if this "lovefest" is taking up space here. In the entire time I've been on-line, I have been banned from one board, that was a board comprised of lovers of Secretariat. Now I love Secretariat myself, considering him the greatest ever but I found myself defending another poster who came to the board and "dared" to question whether Secretariat was greater than Man O War, this poster (handle was Dragon something on the ESPN board was in actuality a 12 year old girl, in all her posts she demonstrated a knowledge and intellect far beyond her years and never was disrespectful. I felt that the attacks on her, some very ugly, were uncalled for and tried to defend her right to at least ask a question...we were both banned. While I would do the same today,I recognized that on a board dedicated to Secretariat, folks would not accept anything that varied from their views...and what the hell? Who are they hurting? They may be closed minded, they may be intolerant but it's their space. Seems useless to make fun of them here...especially when there are posters here like me to ridicule for different points of view.

Useless?
I can think of few who deserve it more than people who post that kind of nonsense.

This one is obviously a spoof. Okay, DTers, which one of you did this? An excellent job, especially the typos and generous use of capitalizations, but the "I will fast until you become with child" was a bit of a giveaway.
