A bonus side effect from the disastrous 2010 meet at AP and failure to get a slots bill passed

the slots bill should have never been coupled with legalizing video poker and numerous casino licenses. Had it been allowed to go alone it would have passed. IMO AP has evolved into the Wrigley field of horseracing as it's no longer about the product on the field or track but rather all about the party. AP on nice weekends might as well be Kiddie Land.

Reminds me of Donnie Brasco's guys in Florida.

So the Frank Calabrese winner's circle ass grab has moved to Fla full-time? Nice. Makes AP more bettable.

If he's so worried about the bottom line and making a profit ... wouldn't Calder be a poor option?
Even dopey Gill eventually figured out that Pennsylvania is the right place to go when you don't have truly top horses. |

Arlington will be better for it. Although I'm guessing that Jamie Ness might swoop in now since he already has a stable at Hawthorne, but has never come to Arlington. |
