I didn't expect him to get this good and certainly not this fast. But he is a completely different realm of athlete.

I have watch fredette play since he was a freshman coming off the bench when Ainge's son was at BYU. It was one of the seasons that Bzdelik was coaching at Air Force and that program was actually relevant...to the MWC at least. Fredette was the spark off the bench. Now how many of those games did you watch Chuck?

As far as the Delonte thing, I totally forgot that him and Nelson were backcourt mates at St Joes! Now, was that a concidence or a freudian slip when you compared Fredette to Jameer Nelson? There are much better comparisons than Jameer Nelson. Wouldn't Alford be a much better comparison? Or even Fred Hoiberg? Or Chris Jackson? Chris Jackson could be a great comparison although not nearly as athletic (and no tourrette's).

The margin for success in the NBA is slim and it gets slimmer the smaller the player is. Fredette doesn't look slow because as you and slowdirt pointed out, he plays against mid majors. He looked pretty slow against Florida. He even looked pretty slow against Wofford. Can you imagine how slow he would have looked against Uconn or Duke????
Somehow I am guessing he wont be drawing double teams or face zones entirely designed to counter him at the next level like FL threw at him.

And I am supposed to believe you have been monitoring the BYU program for years?

Mahmoud Abdul Rauf had a decent enough NBA career (nine seasons in the league), though I don't think touretts had anything to do with it. Hey, let's insult dt.com posters and people with disabilities all in one swoop!

P.S. - Chris Jackson was 1,893 times the college player Jimmer was. Just saying.

How did I insult anyone with Tourette's? I merely stated a fact. Chris Jackson has tourette's and Jimmer Fredette doesn't.

Lighten up. Jeez. I was just messin with you.

How was Chris Jackson's tourette's relevant to the conversation? It was in poor taste at best.

Well I don't see you saying anything about the comments on him being mormon or white. Do you simply feign outrage when it comes to Tourette's syndrome?

Chris Jackson is memorable to me for a few things:

1. Tourette's syndrome
2. Turning his back on the national anthem
3. Having a sensational few years at LSU

I have never been aware of another prominent athlete having tourette's just like i have never seen a 6' 2" white shooting guard after 1980.

I didn't know that there were taste police in Detroit of all places. I will make sure I am extra sensitive to people with Tourette's slowdirt.

Jim Eisenreich had tourette's, dumb-akhani. As someone who pretends to know everything there ever has been to know about the city of Philadelphia (not to mention the world in general), I'd have figured you of all people would know that.
