My theory and feelings on Polytrack

i just really feel that if turfway and other tracks can't run in the middle of winter due to safety, they shouldn't run then!! obviously certain sports aren't made for certain times of the year. winter racing belongs in the deep south, not in places that have hard freezes.

dirt isn't the problem, the overall handling of the sport and it's athletes is the problem. kyroses mentioned breeding and drug practices above--she's right!! what about all the surgically corrected foals? what about the unsound horses being bred because they're fast, but made of glass? what about bleeders?? bute now being allowed everywhere?? those are the problems, not dirt!!
