And good ol Vic Stauffer comes to Grunder's defense on Blinker's Off on TVG and trashes Beyer. Nice Vic. Once again we see that Stauffer doesn't know when to keep his big mouth shut. Taking personal shots at Beyer was probably the wrong way to go about it. Nice job Vic. Your career at TVG will be shorter than your stint as Tyler Baze's agent.

TVG won't get rid of Vic. They have a track record of keeping bad talent.

Ok, here's a post Vic made here after the BC Classic ... Quote:
Besides accusing Beyer of getting a vote wrong for which he was of the same exact opinion ... Vic said "Beyer should stick to playing 10cents Supers that cost $480 and losing" Basically, Vic kicked his own ass with the Horse of the Year remark ... and kicked his own ass again by basically doing the same thing he accused Beyer of doing with his $480 10-cent Super remark. Vic was in fine form throughout the first 15 minutes of the show - he claimed to have never heard of Trappe Shot (2nd place finisher at about 5/2 odds in the Haskell) or Succesful Dan (DQ'd from a win over Giant Oak in the Clark) My TV cried tears whenever Watchmaker's tranny mug was on... but after 15 minutes - I was already starting to get nostalgic for him. |

Beyer left out one thing - if their avg daily handle is $4mm+, why do their purses continue to SUCK???

If they go higher, the complexion of who races there changes... it becomes more competitive, at which point, field size and other factors start to come into play. They've found an excellent balance with their racing program.

You picked on Beyer why? because he wrote a positive article on TB? or because he accurately suggested the races need to be timed correctly? maybe it was his comments on the race caller who in all fairness screws up so much it is embarassing. |

I have typically liked your work at TVG but picking on Beyer because he accurately repped a stumble bum "race caller"(not the person) doesnt have the entertainment value you seem to suggest. In fact all you did was stick your nutz on the line for a race caller, if you think that will endear you to the race community g-d bless.. |

While admirable to defend a fellow race caller, the way you did it was asinine and juvenile.
