My Star Runner set a new track record when winning the Sprint. He broke All Wired Up's 2007 record by .18 seconds.

The record was held for a few races. The 4yo filly Speedacious broke My Star Runner's record by .35 seconds.

Even with the expected scratch of My Star Runner - Star Guitar was hardly plunged on by the bridge jumpers considering only one a half other horses in the field had a pulse.
