His name was Calfraz and he was 8 years old.
He'd been to the winners circle once... in January of 2006. For reasons unknown he had the entire year od 2008 off. This was his first start since April... his 28th start in all. * * * Tell Massini... Any word on Speciale Giorno in Friday's finale @ Aqueduct???? Saw him at Gary's barn in Saratoga this summer, not much of a racehorse.....but, a very nice well-tempered colt. Hope he's OK
