I didn't PM this because I wanted OTHERS to agree with me. Steve is a person that will listen to EVERYONE'S opinion. That is what makes good things great, and good people great. Steve and I have a great relationship. People don't want to agree with me then fine. I am also going to respect his opinion on it either way, but I disagree with that statement, and I am sure others will also.
As far as Steve picking up the tab on this, you are putting words on my mouth and others, which is ridiculous. He did this on HIS OWN ACCORD.

You know what, you are right. These are annoying but I can just jump over them. Oracle is just so annoying that when he does it is really annoying.
There is no reason to ruin the personal nature of the board. I just find Oracle such a hypocrit and so annoying that when he does it I get annoyed because he is one of those jerks that sends threatening PM's and thinks he can have his own set of rules. Go ahead, if you guys are in such need of attention that you can't PM each other, maybe it is what makes you happy. Honestly, I have never seen it on other boards. It is almost like a cry for attention. You guys should get together with my housemate.

Rev, come on man, we have talked via PM and via the board, I FEEL your frustration....I couldn't agree more that conversations involving a person should be PMed, like the post that Oracle posted. But in 7 years, I have never seen him post something like that, he is 99% about horses, 1% about Seattleallstar.

I never would have established relationships with people like randall or hooves if I didn't respond to them on a thread and then start talking. (YES, Pletcher just got up in the 3rd at Meadowlands)

Scavs is right. The posts are no big deal. I am sure it annoys nobody but me and I only post here if they leave it on the computer. No need to change because of one person that rarely posts.
I prefer a different style, and there are plenty of other boards. No need to change due to one person's preference.

It's funny this came up at all because I really was thinking of asking about trying to limit the "Personal Message as Threadstrarter"...
Would like everyone's input.. They do OCCASIONALLY get a quality thread going, but for the most part seem to be limited exchanges... Perhaps the answer is a "threadstarter" with an actual topic first and a paranthesied directive after? i.e. "BEL P6 today! (Hooves? Orca?)" Feel free to provide feedback... This folds into an exchange Bolb Bklyn and I had this week.. Happy to see if the Trailers want to take an active role in helping maintain the guidelines around the Forum... SB

I agree 100%. Sometimes, some of us want to get someones attention on this board but yet we also want others thoughts and opinions as well. No harm, in my humble opinion, in those threads you speak of. We are adults after all, and if their is something we feel the need to convey to another member without others knowledge, the feature is available for our use as many I am certain use on a daily basis. The beauty of this board is that anyone that is a member may click on any thread and read and respond at their will. Over time they will find who the ones are that are "questionable". I can be that at times
