anyone who has posted with me here or at ESPN over the last 4 years knows that I am terrible at 3YOs and in particular, picking KY Derby winners.
but I was right from the start on Barbaro.
maybe just pure luck, or maybe Im getting better at looking at 2YOs late in the year.
probably just luck.

I agree about Caruthers.
I dont really like his whole 58 flat show(camera angles seem contrived), but he has a good handicapping mind.
and man are you right about his fondness for lone speed.
hed bet a 20K claimer in in the BC Classic if he thought it could get an easy lead.
he loves speed and fade angles and can get really hot at times when a track is playing to speed.
He is one of the guys I can honestly say that I have learned something from on TVG over the past 4 years that I have been watching.
