I don't think you have to worry about them carving up anything unless they are making jack o' lantern's before the game. The slouch will be his usual quiet self while being guarded by Revis or Cromartie. Jets are getting Calvin Pace back and they add another weapon on offense with the return of Santonio Holmes.
Going to be a long night for Vikings. |

They're 4.5-point dogs. It wouldn't exactly be Chaminade.

They just said Moss is only expected to see 25 to 30 plays tonight as thats all he's familar with so far in this offense.
I would bet my life on the over. Everytime the Patriots tried to hand off and run when Moss wasn't on the field - it was an almost sure thing negative 2 yard play. They couldn't run to save their friggen life when they'd attempt to rest Moss for a play. Keep him on the field for every running play at the least. |

We both know why you love them. You'd bet against the Jets if they were playing a Pop Warner team.

Can't wait to see the Vikings win this game on a bs field goal. They got outplayed for 3 quarters, but Sanchez couldn't make the plays when it counted. Not sure if it's the pressure of Monday night, or what, but he's been awful tonight.

Brett Favre.
Thank God John Madden isn't calling MNF anymore or his head might have exploded. Actually that might have been kind of cool to see.

Favre's elbow had to be nagging the hell out of him. He missed a few easy throws to wide open guys late.
That offense was horrid early - false starts - illegal formations - two lost fumbles on snaps. Couldn't pick up a blitz to save their life. Couldn't get a first down to save their life. When Moss learns the offense - and Rice gets healthy and comes back - Favre gets over his elbow - this team will come on strong. Problem is that their schedule is so brutal - they might be 3-6 by the time all that happens. Abandon this West Coast offense garbage - put Favre in shotgun almost every play - and run the spread like they did in Minny in '98 and in New England from '07 till last week. Percy Harvin will put up Wes Welker like catch totals - and way better stats than Wes did because he's better with the ball in his hands and is a ton faster. Adrian Peterson will avg 8 yards a friggen carry running from the spread in a dome. |

Random observations:
- the jets weren't that good vs the run. I was surprised the vikes didn't run more. - revis got handled a couple of times. Probably a result of injury and lack of preseason. - Sanchez Didn't hurt them. Playcalling at end for jets was brutal. - jets really took care of the ball. Difference in the game. |

You need to stop hedging Gales. The Vikings should have won this game. They were outplayed for 3 quarters and had a chance to win. But they didn't. Favre choked when it counted and as bad as Sanchez played, he didn't turn it over. Favre did, like he usually does. |
