Did anyone else see that game?
My favorite Pedro pitching performance was on April 13, 1994 against Cincinnati. He was pitching a perfect game before he hit Reggie Sanders in the 8th inning. Then Reggie charged the mound, and had the balls to appeal his suspension since Pedro was pitching tight to him the entire game.

Lincecum was arguably better than Halladay yesterday. Giant leap of logic, but 31 swings and misses. The most in the regular season in any game by a pitcher was 26. The postseason pitching has been ridiculous.

My 2 first round picks not looking so good at this point. We'll see. Some major pitching performances this post season. As we get years away from the steroid era it is amazing how much pitching has improved.

I love it. I would much rather watch a well pitched, fast paced, 1-0 game than a 9-8 slugfest with 6 pitching changes dragging it out to nearly 4 hours.

Even with the lengthened commercial time between innings, the Halladay game took 2:34 and the Lincecum game took 2:26.

Im not sure its def the era. These 5-7 really good pitchers, have been really good the past 3-4 years. They just all came together this post seasson.

The steroid era was generally mid 90's into mid 2000's based on the available runs, home runs, pitching stats. Thus in the further we get out of it, the better the pitching should come back. (not to mention humidors for CO as well)

Lovely 5-hit CG shutout for Hollywood

Yet another post-season pitching gem…
