![]() Really happy about this. I love that they're keeping her at 1400m to a mile, and it's awesome that her Hastings race is on the day I go to every year! I'll be there this year too, of course. Last edited by _ed_ : 09-22-2010 at 11:14 PM. |

Two nice stakes races for 3yo at Ellerslie yesterday.
Bonecrusher Stakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuzOW3EoGZs Soliloquy Stakes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnwksbMi3G8 Hoofit was fourth in a G1 last year and stakes-placed, so it was good to see him finally win one. Singapore Sling decided not to take the turn in her last start. Naughty! But she was on her best behaviour yesterday and looks like a talented filly. |

VERY nice ed!
When Singapore Sling passes the wire, what exactly is the race caller saying? "... and welcome back ????"? Thanks! * * * Just watched the Bonecrusher and very nice as well BUT was rooting for Upsala. ![]() Last? ![]() |

Upsala didn't like the wet track. I think he can be forgiven for that.
I think George said welcome back to the jockey, Vinnie Colgan. He broke two vertebrae in April, and this was his first day back riding. Nice way to come back! |
