Here's a MOFO that's made a career of throwing his ass out whenever a pitch is from the outside corner in. And, given the quality of the umpiring, he gets quite a few of these calls. Down the middle, Jeter's ass pops out, BALL.

Wonder what some of the old timers, like Gibson, Drysdale, etc., would offer in the way of a remedy for this.

If they played now they wouldn't do much more than what is done now unless they wanted to spend half the season suspended.
