HERDING is dangerous. It forces the other rider to either YIELD, allowing the herder to win, or plow into the herder. Which option do you think that any sane jock would take? It's an incredible advantage. Why is Castellano supposed to repeatedly get away with it? Hopefully, this establishes new ground for how NYRA treats herding from this point forward.

This filly looks like she might be ok. She got an inside run and Lezcano couldn't keep her on righty lead but she looked good.

She sure as hell wasn't a secret. I'm a Toner fan so I hope she turns out to be a good one. Rice's horse ran well to be a clear 2nd after tracking that pace.
