Any guesses on the BSF for Mo?

They'll probably do some mathematical magic with it, but based on all the times on the card today, doesn't he have to get like a 110?

He went about 2 seconds faster than the other 2yo msw, he went faster than the graded stakes for 3yo fillies, and his time was better than the two grade 1 races run at 7f.

It should be around 105-108, but it won't be.

Since we're just going to throw around numbers with no idea how they are made I hope he gets a Beyer of 135.

It was a very, very nice debut....over a track that carried runners inside and on the lead. Before we crown him HOY for 2011, lets see him win a race over a fair surface.

Relax dude. It's just a curiosity.

However, why not go for HOY 2010?

The way I see it, no 3yo is going to win it. No turf horse is going to win it. No sprinter is going to win it.

I really doubt RA can win it. Z will have to win the BCC, and since that's highly unlikely, that means a female won't win it.

That leaves QR and Blame.

I'm going to predict it now! Uncle Mo is going to win all of his races by double digits and win HOY!

That, or get hurt and retire after 2-3 starts.

So, like, how does Rapport get a faster BSF than Uncle Mo after running like 2 5ths slower just a short time later on the card.

Very impressive and along with Kantharos and Wine Police, I have some excitement in the 2yo division.

Im curious about this myself. Rapport is VERY FAST, but there is no evidence the track slowed down... It seems like its just made up, it really does.

They have the track slowing down a bit for the stakes races.

Basically, it was a speed biased track - and by the end of the card the paces were starting to get out of hand. The King's Bishop pace was vicious and the Travers pace was insanely fast as well.

I'm in the minority who liked the winners race in the Travers more than Fly Down's race.
