Is it me or did the trifecta in race 4 @ Toga come back ULTRA LIGHT?
edit:: Was hoping to get a better price on Weaver's charge in the 6th. Hopefully it floats back up near the morning line.

Pletcher took over from Levine as Repole's first call barn this year. They've had several winners together this meet, including Driven by Success yesterday.

These slow paced turf races are becoming a real joke/problem @ SAR. It's come down to handicapping who gets the rail trip in the stretch. There are no turf horses at the level of the 7th race that can break 25, 50 ? Almost 1:15 for the 6F. This is a joke. This was a 9.5F race. It wasn't a marathon.

El Brujo gets an easy lead over Smiling Tiger. That makes sense.

I give up.
You don't have to go 5 wide to close. Or am I the only person watching races who thinks that? |
