Just about as fine a ride as you'd want by JV. I really like it when a jock makes no effort to get position on a horse that's no trying to stay with the pace. JV figures, widest on the turn, midpack, is the ideal spot.

#7, Might Fenian is a huge over at 10:1 with 4 minutes to post. He'll probably get hit; just a question of how much. I'll take 5:1 or over.

None of these guys seem to have any concept of pace on the turf. They are happy to go like a merry-go-round. Chavez sat 6 back off a 49 pace on my choice and then went 6 wide all the way around the turn.
