I've been thinking about Tuscan Evening all day. You know, there must be a heaven. Where else would these horses go when their time is up on earth? I sure hope when I go God picks me for one of their caretakers.

mine hurts a bit today

I sure hope there's a giant pasture in the sky. Your Pine Islands, Go For Wands, Ruffians, Barbaros...they're all up there. So terrible and so sudden to lose Tuscan Evening. Such a nice horse. I'm sure her connections are devastated. I can't imagine what it's like as a rider to have a horse die under you.
