I've noticed this about the wives though .. the more the husband spoils them the worse they are - and the more the husband treats them like crap the nicer they are.

My brother Dave is less than 2 years younger than me. He spoils his wife, laughs at all of her terrible, lame, and unfunny jokes with her and she's a total bitch to me.

My youngest brother. He's about 10 years younger than me. He treats his wife like dogshit .. never hits her or anything like that, but calls her stuff like 'slut' and 'whore' for no reason and bitches her out about little stuff and steals her credit card and stuff like that. She is by far the nicest to me. She made me an omelet with bacon on the side for breakfest at my request. Really good Fettachini for lunch that took her about a half hour or so and I even talked her into making my bed for me. Pretty much all you have to do is ask nicely and smile, she doesn't know how to say no. With me, she'll just drop her shoulders, make a funny face, and go "yes your majesty" It's pretty sweet.

Sad on so many levels...Hopefully you've learned from their ****ed up relationships. No wonder you are so jaded Doug.
