His name was Old Noddy and he was 10 years old.
His first race had been at Hexham in May of 2006.He was pulled up. How sad that it's like he'd gone full circle... He was pulled up yesterday, at Hexham, and he sadly collapsed and died. Hopefully there's somewhere where he has a lot of fine company and peppermints and can win every race. Good night, Noddy. |

Golden Vixen today at Colonial in a paddock accident, that could have been averted with proper handling. An unnecessary and sad loss.
