no track should have it every year. this is supposed to be a nationwide effort-why should one track, one region, get the races each year?

I think Casner makes some pretty valid points. I think they need to hold out on a decision until at least after this year. This will be the first two day event at a big track other than Santa Anita. Its going to be interesting to see how the numbers look.

Agree. Give fans from all parts of the country an opportunity to attend with reasonable travel. If you hold it at any site permanently, particularly either coast, you eliminate a lot of fans from being able to attend every few years.

Unless you want to create a new race surface category, you have no business running on synthetic surfaces anyway. Calling a race the "Dirt Mile" on Pro-Ride, Polytrack, Cushion...whatever, it's a joke and you often have results that don't reflect the best runners. You might as well run the Classic on turf if you want to say synthetics are the same as dirt.
