Eskendereya has done a lot more then Big Brown to this point, He has done more then Mine that Bird, he has done more then Giacomo. I just dont agree with all the hate for this group.
No problem with the top 2, but the rest of the crop have huge question marks. Your 3 examples are all from other weak crops this decade. Big Brown's group was pretty much garbage. Giacomo was in with Afleet Alex, but I can't think of anyone else from that group that made an impact. MTB was fortunate not to catch the best 3yo's when I Want Revenge and Quality Road had injuries, and Rachel Alexandra went to the Oaks.

Who knows anymore what synthetic efforts mean as it relates to dirt racing? I just wish everyone would quit treating it as a dirt equivalent. They might as well be prepping on the weeds.

What? I really like Eskendereya but why are his credentials for the Derby any better than Quality Road's were a year ago? Quality Road ran a huge race in the FOY last year as he ran against the race flow and dominated the field. To channel my inner Fat Man, he wiped out the field that day.

Until you have snuck to get pictures of him and have them on your facebook page I hold that distinction.

Mission Impaziable and Awesome Act here. Super Saver looks fantastic in the mornings though.

He's got pictures of QR on his ceiling, plus he keeps a photo album of him in the bathroom.

I have a future bet on Jackson and Rule, don't really like either for the Derby now, but you gotta love a horse as gritty as the former.

There are some visuals I really don't need this early in the morning.

I think I'm missing something on Mission Impazible. I can't see it.

Agreed...........The Derby landscape the past few years is littered with the failings of the Louisiana Derby winner..........Friesen Fire, Pyro, Circular Quay.............I've learned my lesson. MI is an auto toss for me.

Ok, but when somebody says the crop is below par, they are talking about the depth of quality prospects. You have one, arguably two, that have clearly separated themselves thus far, and the depth, well, I just don't think it's there. We are looking at 20 entries and could only have 2 below 10-1 (I think Candy will be 8-1 or so).
