It took the Nasdaq 7 1/2 years to double. Oil did it in less than a year.

Obama's administration still has almost 3 years. $100 oil will be a reality in that time.

I totally agree. At least the factors that are leading to $100 oil actually make sense. What were bush's excuses?

whether the factors are causing this or not , nancy pelosi in 2006 told the american people that the president and the congress could control the price of oil and they were helping it to go higher to help big oil , why is the most powerful man in the world and the most powerful congressional body suddenly powerless in this situation?

you can't have it both ways no matter how much dc double speak about "factors" you give us dala

I think it was a good idea sending Joba back to the bullpen as heir apparent to Mo. Hughes has got to step up.

Fat.
Witch.
Dog imagery.

With a free space, that was almost a bingo there in such a short comment -- well done!

Look..Bush had a campaign mantra pre 9-11 that he had "connections" on the biz and we would benefit from that. This topic was discussed ad nauseum last year I still believe that oil prices are not poltically controlled. But that big a-hole from Texas sure tried to make it seem like he had inside info..what a dumb f*ck

you may think that but the majority leader of the congress does not

the main impresssion from the article that she gave was the higher gas pices were the result of the republicans being in power

now either she was playing politics (something she never does) or at the time she believed she was telling the truth

if we give her the benefit of the doubt that she was telling the truth in 2006 then the dems s/b working for the american people now against big oil to get lower gas prices for the american people

if she was playing politics then , what dala says in this post about monetary policy other factors etc, etc...... , then she should come out and apoligzie to the american people for mis-informing the public

see bob you can't have it both ways

Wow what the Democrats misinforming the American public again. Hmmm!!!! What do you know Pelosi playing politics. Thats a new one on me. Hopefully her and Reid's day will come soon. The trash in DC needs to be cleaned up. It doesn't look like to me that the Dems are trying anything with big oil to lower gas prices.

Ok, so in your opinion GAS prices, a non-life essential product, should be regulated by the government- whereas HEALTHCARE, a life essential product, should not be?

You sir, fail Economics 101 and Political Science 101.
