I know. It's really funny. When you (and the others) are going on about how RA is a world beater and Z is a plug, that's not funny. Didnt anybody notice how hard R.A. was lugging in ? Champions dont do that , or at least they shouldnt , she is done . If she brings that race to the next she gets beat again.

Nope , she was lugging in before the running started , he already had her head cocked passing the horse on the lead at the 5/16ths pole. She continued to lug in after that if you watch the replay he goes to the left handed stick right away . I have watched her races and I dont recall her lugging in before today , perhaps she did but was on the lead and it didnt matter . When horses start lugging one way or the other there is a habit forming and it may have started in the morning but either way they better get her over it.

I respect your opinion on noticing horses' condition but also I didn't see anything here. She just looked very short and lacked the burst she usually has. Her head was a little cocked but she looked like she was watching her opponent. In retrospect, her worst race last year was also at Fair Grounds, I'm hoping that was what caused her poor performance. Zardana is a nice horse but not one I'd expect to beat Rachel, especially given the circumstance (no trouble, decent but far from exceptional pace.)

Look at her head position coming past the 5/16ths pole , when a horse is running comfortable and straight you dont see its head tipping out , dude watch the replay , she was lugging in , is she a horse that always lugs in ?

I started a freaking thread saying Zardana might be real competiton to RA. Something that 99% of people would laugh at if I didn't showcase such a good argument in the post.

I dug up trainer stats which clearly said Asmussen is a terrible layoff trainer.

I'm a classic guy who should be doing better things with his time than wasting it with you.

I'm the classic guy who can walk to the bank and withdrawl over a hundred thousand dollars in cash anytime said bank is open. And why? Because of some nice steady high paying job I've had? ... No, I've never had a "job" for more than 4 months in my life. I've never had anything even close to a "real job" ever...and you can be sure I never will.

Did I inherit something good? Nope. Trust Fund? Nope. TFM, if this is all somehow your way of pretending that your analytically superior to me .. it's a weak attempt. A 1/9 shot I wouldn't touch with fake money at those odds lost and it's like some kind of glory day for you somehow.

Why is it that a guy with your ability gets so easily worked up by my comments? Isn't the game hard enough for you? Do you really need my support? Does my opinion matter that much? I didn't see anything today to sway me from my opinion that Rachel is better. Even on an off day she ran a better race. But, I am willing to concede that Zenyatta probably had an off day as well.

You know trips...and you know that I know ( this is like a Honeymooners routine ) that you know them.....so please don't pretend that Zenyatta didn't have a great one ( for synth ) today.

My favorite moment was when Trevor said she was eight lengths back....when she was really about four lengths behind.

Where and when did YOU decide what team I'M "on"? To me, one is not better than the other until they settle it on the track. I was in the RA camp for HOTY, because she did more over the course of last year than Zenyatta did. But I was on track for both of their best races- and trying to decide between the two without them facing off is impossible.

I called you out for coming on here AFTER THE RACE to talk ****, if you had a bold opinion, you should have shared it prior to the race. The only person I saw selecting a horse other than Rachel in the race was Pacheco and she gave a reason why (even if she ended up on the wrong one her reasoning was good why Rachel could lose.) You said nothing.
