Honestly? Because I've watched more MWC games than I've watched in the past. A lot of years, I just looked their resumes up and down, but I've watched the teams this year and.. they suck. They're nothing special. New Mexico is OK, BYU is OK, UNLV and San Diego State are both garbage. If any BCS conference teams were struggling against the likes of Colorado State and TCU in their conference tourneys, we'd all be eviscerating them, but the MWC powers get a pass for some reason. I'm crossing my fingers for a New Mexico/Wofford or BYU/Murray State first round matchup. I'd mortgage most of my possessions to bet the underdogs on the money line in those matchups.

You have to say that Fredette's pretty good.
