They are both great, amazing horses, but Z is better.

an opinion, but certainly not a fact as for the moment you can't prove it. you can give reasons til the cows come home for having that opinion....but that doesn't mean you proved it.

in this game you make money when your opinion is correct and you lose when it is not.... I seem to recall your opinion being wrong at least as much as anyone elses

He's gearing up to put $1,000 to win on Z in the Apple Blossem and if she wins he will no doubt bust out his pom poms and tell us he is the best handicapper in the world!

How is this different from making sure to always check a certain someone's NYRA picks before putting down YOUR money? At least he basically has his OWN opinion.

Enjoy the day's events.

Unlike you, I don't have the time to pour over racing videos to obtain all the information that I would like to have before I make my selections. I am sure you will try to lump me into a speed figures guy, but frankly, I see them as only one piece of information to use with other factors in handicapping. Regardless of what you think of Serling, he provides valuable information to people like me who play the game for fun, not for a living. I would be a fool not to take time to factor that information into my handicapping.

I have nothing against Serling. I respect Serling, and his opinion, and always have. I consider Serling to be one of the best trip handicappers, if not the best, around. And, his game is constantly improving. I thought this was obvious.

This game is brutal and I'd be the last person to deny anyone the opportunity to do whatever it takes to cash a bet. Here, however, there are a number of different factions and I just never felt the need to go with the consensus.

Nothing more than that involved.
