I don't think it's that unbelievable. She's a true dirt horse who has never gotten to try dirt in America.

Like how Cigar would get speed figures of 93ish on turf, then 115 on dirt...

She was short

Calvin seemed a tad indecisive about asking her to run

They didn't care about winning today

Looked like a short race horse. Head up high and no real RA drive late.

While he put the stick away late, he was getting into her man. Calvin was a bit confident.....

Who knows how this will shake out, but it doesn't look good for that race at Oaklawn now.

No it doesnt look good and I think its too soon for RA to be at her best, but Zenyatta isn't that good. Right.

if you had a choice of winning today or winning April 9th
and if asking her to run all out would jeopardise winning on April 9th

maybe they wanted to win or wanted her to be further along than she was but it wasn't that important today as it will be the next time

assuming there is going to be a next time

Why does no one even give a thought that Zardana might just be G1 quality on dirt, and RA just needed one?

Instead, everyone is acting like Rachel's career is over.

It likely is. Do you think Jackson takes this like a man and moves forward, or SAVES FACE and blames this on a career ending injury? I think he goes injury route, whats going to happen if they press forward and Z demolishes her?

I think that they need more time to get her back on her game, period. They should of made Zenyatta wait till later in the year to have the CLASH OF TITANS.
