UTEP either quit for no reason or threw that game. Absolutely no effort in the last six minutes.

I don't blame em. I wish ODU and Butler had done the same thing. The Big Ten tournament looks totally fixed to me this year to get extra bids. Each game a team plays in the NCAAs is worth a cool million to the conference, why not manuever more teams in?

Hey the NCAA makes every decision based on how to squeeze another buck out of it. Why not the conferences as well?

If DT readers don't listen to me about anything else, listen to this: Bet against the Mountain West. At every opportunity. This is the most fraudulent conference in the country.

Honestly? Because I've watched more MWC games than I've watched in the past. A lot of years, I just looked their resumes up and down, but I've watched the teams this year and.. they suck. They're nothing special. New Mexico is OK, BYU is OK, UNLV and San Diego State are both garbage. If any BCS conference teams were struggling against the likes of Colorado State and TCU in their conference tourneys, we'd all be eviscerating them, but the MWC powers get a pass for some reason. I'm crossing my fingers for a New Mexico/Wofford or BYU/Murray State first round matchup. I'd mortgage most of my possessions to bet the underdogs on the money line in those matchups.
