I agree with Connery, also liked Roger Moore (The Saint). Work in the Theater when Live and Let Die was released, seen it 300 times. Like the new Bond, lot's of action but, need some more Halle Barre's walking out of the ocean.

Roger Moore. Of course I was born in '70, so all of the Bond movies I saw for 15 years was with Moore, it was later when I saw Connery so I was used to seeing Moore. I wish they had a 2 hour movie compiled of just the intros from the movies. All of those naked sillouettes were very scintillating as a youngster.

I'm not sure on this, but heard that Roger Moore was first choice before Connery, and Moore's contract for The Saint kept them from getting Moore in the 1st place.
