I thought Frankel had Badge of Silver. He had awful looking feet when I saw him.

He got him later in his career when Ramsey was looking for a miracle. He had a fractured cannon bone as a 2 yo and believe knee chips as well.

Even the almost impossible to impress Steve Haskin had nice things to say about him...

BADGE OF SILVER first burst on to the national stage when winning his first three races by a combined 26 lengths and becoming the early favorite for the Kentucky Derby. His third win, a spectacular 10 length romp in the G3 Risen Star Stakes, earned him a 108 Beyer speed figure and verbal accolades from the sport's most knowledgeable horsemen. Following the race, Steve Haskin of the Blood-Horse wrote: "If there is the proverbial "Freak" then this is the one....to say he's been brilliant would be a gross understatement." Unfortunately throat surgery derailed BADGE OF SILVER's triple crown chances.

Running 3rd in the BC Mile first time off of a 10 month layoff is probably one of Frankel's better training achievments.
