Especially during TC time. Why would I want to know where Baffert is running his plethora of 3YOs. Why would anyone in California care about what Pletcher is doing with his. And certainly nobody outside of Arkansas cares about ANYTHING going on at Oaklawn.

Baffert n' Pletcher are National trainers. Most will care about what's going on anywhere there's a prep race. Most will care about anyone training a top 3 year old. I don't particularly enjoy listening to a Philly Jock that sounds 80 years old, but I guess some people do. That's a totally regional personality.

So, you are the official arbitor of what does and doesn't interest listeners. One guest you don't like equates to the entire show being a regional thing that nobody is interested in.

I just said I like the show. So, the entire show is not "a regional thing that nobody is interested in." No, I am not the official arbitor of what does and doesn't interest listeners. For me, some of the people interviewed aren't as interesting as the others. I have to wait to get those interviews over with. Then, I can hear something decent. So, it can get patchy. This bubbling over response to criticism is normal. A week later, one's defenses will recede, but the immediate response is almost always 100% defensive. I am looking forward to Monday's show. The show is best when the guy is lit up. So, game on. Maybe he will rant about what I said. There is no bad drama. That show is best when he's upset. People should listen on Monday.

Of course every guest isn't interesting ( DrugS is on occasionally for God's sake....not to mention me ).
