Christ I can't believe it's been 20 years

one of my favorite memories was standing there yelling 'hextall. hextall'. lol i remember all those guys...the name calle johanson came to mind earlier today. hell, when i first started going, i was 7-i think there were more players than there were fans in the stands. my dad used to get free tickets, we'd go all the time. i had pucks for days...have no idea what happened to them. i have one now, on my desk at work. everyone comes in, sees it, HAS to pick it up. my oldest loved dino cicarelli, i have a signed card put up-not sure if it's worth money, but it's worth plenty to me!
that's the only thing i miss since moving here, going to the games. cannot wait til next month-we're going to three. tampa, up to d.c. to boo crosby in person, and then back to carolina the next day. the 18th can't get here fast enough. at tampa, we'll be just a couple rows behind the bench! bad thing is, those tix cost less than at the cap center....for that matter, seven tix with better seats in carolina cost less than the three in d.c. worth every penny.

Wow, I was just looking at the draw. And as long as they don't re-seed, Canada has some road ahead. But the looks of the bracket, the Canada/Russia winner has to face either Slovakia/Sweeden. While the US/Swiss winner is looking at either the Czecs or Finland.
Wow, that's some difference!

The Czechs are going nowhere after watching Latvia push them to the limit.

talent wise i'd say canada-russia are even and USA-czech's are even but canada, russia are the most overall talented teams.
