Peyton Manning IS a choke. Has been for large portions of his career. Greatest QB ever? Get real. He couldnt hold Golden Joe's...you know.
Having said all that, he is one of if not the best QB of our era. The whole idea that Peyton handles pressure well, though, is laughable. |

of course he did not choke. it was one play and hes one guy. the thread is stupid anyway. the saints were clearly the best team. they beat the cardinals and the vikings to get in while the colts played the ravens and the jets. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who played harder teams. the point spread was a joke because of the "peyton" hype. the colts had a good first quarter but after the saints calmed down, the colts were totally outclassed and it was on both sides of the ball AND SPECIAL TEAMS.

What isnt debatable is that it was a poor decision at a time in the game when the great QB's step up. Does Golden Joe make that throw? Bradshaw? Brady? It is Manning's career in large parts. He is the golden boy and was annointed before he put on that stupid looking orange uniform. He has in many ways surpassed expectations. In many ways, he hasnt lived up to them. |

Especially Garcon droping that third down pass. He makes that play and Colts get 3 or 7 more points and things look much different.
