I don't think FG or GP has ever had to reschedule a 3YO stakes race. OP, maybe--they do get snow and frozen tracks occasionally.
If you live in Cal and have your operations in Cal where else would you go?

If you are Sherriff, Sadler, Drysdale are you going to ship your best stock out of town? If you are Wygod/Moss or any number of significant owners are you going to ship to FG or GP?

you just answered, thats why no ones there...they get 4 and 5 horse fields and some of the trainers that stay still hate the track

If they had Keeneland's they wouldn't cancel any dates at Calder. Except for hurricanes.
