Mizzou was #21, which is outstanding for them.
Unfortunately, Oklahoma (#7) and Texas (#3) brought in great classes again, so it seems like the best we can hope for over the next few years is to win the Big-12 North, and then get stomped in the conference championship game like in '07 and '08.

I have mixed emotions about the talk of Mizzou leaving the Big-12 and going to the Big-10. I would hate to see the old Big-8 rivalries broken up, but I do think their chances at winning a conference championship in football would improve a little. After all, they actually brought in a higher ranked class than Ohio State this year.

I see Notre Dame is 14th. Not bad for Kelly's first year. I usually don't follow the recruiting process that closely. It's great to have highly rated recruits. But it doesn't do you any good if you can't coach them. Hopefully Kelly and his staff can.

Illinois is pathetic at #70

I thought Zook was supposed to be able to recruit. I guess this is a blessing in disguise. My Saturdays are still free to bet the horses

nd supposedly had top 10 classes the last 2 years. either the services were very wrong or weis couldn't coach them.

Been sleeping just fine lately, Cannon

By the way, do you realize that no less than four of our guys will be starting at that QB position in the NFL next season.

Probably a little of both. The services generally over estimate ND's classes. And the fact that Charley is back in the NFL tells us they weren't coached very well. Hopefully Kelly will be the one to turn them around.

kelly can coach. the question is can he get enough talent to come to nd. IMO, the kids don't want to go there and play. to tough to get guys in, too hard to keep their grades and play.
