No Middle Class Tax Hikes?

I don't know if this has been touched on but allowing the tax cuts to expire is not the same as raising taxes. Just like causing the cost of living to go through the roof with Cap and Trade and other non-sense is technically not raising taxes.

My medicare and socialism security goes up and I have less money but that is not rasing taxes.

The price of goods go up and I have to pay more for them and more for sales tax. Again he can say he didn't raise taxes

He could make my check shrink to almost half and not raise taxes.

Seriously why even bother? I get knocked for posting op-ed pieces despite the forum supposedly being a place to share opinions. Not to mention a great deal of the lefties here simply dismiss a link that is from a source they deem is too conservative. They dont bother to even read them and rarely offer any substantive rebuttal. What you posted was a pretty interesting take on what is going on using facts and figures and stating the holes in what the govt is feeding us in a fairly clearcut manner. But the chances that one person offers a serious opinion on why they disagree without calling the source or writer biased or an idiot is nil.

are you kidding me? His healthcare bill would be the biggest entitlement ever. His aunt has lived solely on entitlements. A good portion of his political base live off entitlements. His plans from education to transportation to global warming all involve entitlements. Not all his fault though, he comes from entitlement world.

I would argue Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme but totally agree on medicaid and medicare and the abuses they have provided.

I think a lot of it's race. Like I said, I don't remember Conservatives going after anybody this much. They block him on everything, and then say he doesn't do anything to help people. Far as the Statist stuff goes, if you're Black, then who do you have to thank for saving the plight of Black people in this country? Big Business? NO. The free market Capitalism you espouse ? Oh, hell no. They'd still be dirt poor, n' working hard while making whitey richer. No, this government intervention you so hate is responsible for saving these people. White people in the South weren't gunna change their ways. They were forced by the Federal Gov't to change their ways. I think that has a lot to do with Black people being for a strong Federal Gov't. C'mon. If they had photoshop back then he would have got it too. Just look at some of the stuff printed about Bush. I dont like Obama because I dont agree with his politics. A lot of people think the same. His race is really not a factor for most. I would have been against the green phoney(Gore) or that stiff (Kerry) and they are both lilly white.
