Because I think the Colts are better than San Diego.

So much so that it would shock you if we won? Did you think this before this weekend?

If you proposed a Jets-Colts AFC Championship matchup last week, I'd have told you that I'd be shocked if the Jets won.

Perhaps after this weekend, the degree of shock will be much less, but the word for it will still be shock if it happens.

Fair enough. We'll see what happens. As with every game since the Falcons loss, I have no expectations, just hopes.

Dude, I'm a freaking diehard Bears fan...I know that feeling every time Jay Cutler touches the ball.

I'm a Denver fan, and now I just laugh when Cutler touches the ball. ( In other words, I know how you feel)

Did you know that Denver let their Defensive Coordinator go?

The best part about Sundays match-up is that all the pressure is on the Colts to prove they can beat the Jets. How ironic it will be if they don't. The Jets have already gained my respect.

Lol, I've been trying to parse out why I feel better about next year without being a total homer, but I really do have a good feeling.

Cutler gave up lots of terrible, terrible balls this year, including several red zone picks that were totally his fault, but I also saw several of his billion picks come on receivers cutting routes short, running off where they weren't supposed to be, and more than his share of plain old unlucky ones.

He was terrible this year for the most part, but the one thing (really the only thing) that makes me feel better is that the ones that were the fault of his receiver should go down as time goes on. Look at the guys who are essentially our top 4 receivers -- Hester in his 2nd year playing wide receiver, Bennett in his 2nd year, Aromashodu in his 3rd year, and Johnny Knox in his rookie year. We don't have a top receiver who has been in the league more than three years. Some of them have a good deal of talent (ie Aromashodu went gangbusters when he came back from injury this year, Knox has lots of potential), and I think that with time, as they get better, we'll see much better work from them and in turn, much better work from Cutler with their help. Come on -- most teams have a legit wide receiver with more experience than our top 4 combined

Admittedly a little bit of hometown wishful thinking, but also, admittedly not without a good deal of logic, either.
