I like Wow Wow Wow in here, especially if he goes off near his ML. He looked set to run a big race at the top of the stretch in that FG allowance, but all the ground loss he experienced caught up to him at the end. He drew the 12 post for this, but hopefully Court can work out a good trip and minimize the ground loss.

I think Pleasant Storm has a nice future. . . He's probably my derby sleeper at this point.

That doesn't mean much to me. . . it's not like Pleasant Tap hasn't produced some nice horses and he stands in KY anyways. Dam's side is nothing special production-wise, but I've been impressed with his turn of foot and think the pedigree suggests even more ground.

7 years ago they said a NY bred couldn't win the Derby. 6 years ago, same story with a PA bred (despite PA having a few Derby winners before that). Horses don't care where they're born.
