I don't hate Woodson. I just saw a lot of things "happen" to him on Sunday that I've never seen happen to Revis. If it's that easy to push you over and score two TDs, I can't call you a "terror," sorry, LOL.

I'm glad though, that we're now getting to the real arguments, like, "if you fall over easily when a guy 15 lbs heavier than you runs into you, you're obviously no terror." They really get the job done. For me. |

As opposed to "I could run you over too!"
I told you this was getting ridiculous. |

And for continuing to point out that Woodson got scorched on a play, and when I point it out, you say "no I meant the OTHER time Fitzgerald ran him over!!!!!!1!11!!1!" |

Woodson's a terror who gets run over on two TDs and almost costs his team the game in the final seconds in a playoff game. |

There's nothing to let go, since I don't particularly care about the award, Joey. As I said earlier, I'd have had no problem with it going to Revis, if that's what the voters cared about. They don't. I see the arguments for both. But the "oh god, I'm fainting, this is too much to handle, I can't believe this, where are my smelling salts!!!!" stuff and LOLcat-style pictures of Woodson to denigrate the great season he had is over the top. |

I am going to interject this completely impartial fan's take on the situation. Lets really look closely at the respective schedules of each team. The only teams on Green Bay's schedule that could remotely throw the ball were Pitt, cin, min twice, dallas and zona. The rest of the games were against teams with issues in the passsing game I.E TB, chi, detroit, St louis (kyle boller!), bal, cle.
Pitt lit them up through the air. So did Minnesota twice and you see what Zona just did. Of course, Woodson isnt the entire defense but you are really going to give the award of defensive MVP to a guy who's defense gets trashed for 51 points in a playoff game? Really?? Because of my bet with Sniper I watched an inordinate amount of GB games this year. I watched the Jets play a few times as well. To me, there really was no question as to who was the better player. Revis changes the way an offense plays. He takes away a side of the field. He makes the QB do things he is not comfortable doing such as throwing to secondary targets...on every play. He will never create as many turnovers because the ball isnt going anywhere near his direction. |
