Wow. St. Trinians stepped up to stakes company and won impressively -- she ran almost a full second faster than Neko Bay did in winning the Grade 2 stakes two races later. This mare may have a nice future.
Furthest Land laid an egg and laid claim to the common belief not to bet Breeders Cup winners in their next race. |

todays result just proved that Smith should have been put in prison after his last ride on Neko Bay, however they put him back on the horse so it must not have bothered them as much

I like Evening Jewel in this race. Good workout pattern - though it is curious that last work was on the turf for this race.
By the way, this might be a "dumb question" but, can anyone explain to me why all the workouts in California are listed as "h (handily)" ? Why bother listing a description for a workout when everything is "h"? |
