Michael, the Eagles might have the most talent/depth that they have ever had on offense during the McNabb era. Unfortunately the defense might be the weakest it has during that same span.

I'm of something near the same thought. As explosive the offense has shown to potentially be, the defense has been at times just as porous. I can't pull the 'decimated by injuries' card, because it's football, every team is hurt/banged up. However, in a few instances, they've shown glimpses of being a cohesive/ball hawk-ish unit. They haven't had a consistent linebacker corps this year and it shows. The secondary, for them to be playing as well as they are after replacing Dawkins with Sean Jones/Macho Harris in the off-season, is a feat in itself. With the nonstop motor up front in 58, and his interchangeable mates besides him, pressure is most likely on it's way. I think they pull it together, Andy and co. focus more on shoring up the one glaring hole on the defense rather than the offense, and they'll "get it fixed".
