i can't imagine having to listen to a radio stretch call on a race in which i bet on on a regular basis, that would be torture for me. If that was my only option i would just wait until i'm near a comp. and watch the replay

i agree, i used to listen when we could not get a signal. that was years ago....i'm old enough to remember when OTB up here had to play just audio. no tv live call only. just like you said the close races are torture..i hate counting on the race caller.
