I'd feel a lot more confident if they still had Richard Seymour.
Brady and Moss are both 1st ballot hall of famers ... I'm not sure if Seymour is but he damn sure should be. |

There is no defensive unit that outclasses them. Maybe eight or nine are a little better - but not by a whole lot.
This is easily the 3rd best defense Moss has ever had. Clearly behind the 18-1 '07 Pats And somewhat behind the 11-5 '08 Matt Cassell's |

don't think so ....if they were tops in the league or right there uncle bill punts the ball away against the colts and makes them go 70 + yds to beat them remember bill b is a defenese coach and that is where he knows best , if that was his giant defense from the 80's he punts the ball in that spot, he knows what he has an avg defense with no difference maker |

I'm not a decorated football handicapper or anything ... I'm no more qualified in my non Randy Moss football opinons than anyone else here. That said .... I like this defense a whole hell of a lot better than the 1998 Vikings defense - and that team went 15-1. This isn't a bad defense. If they still had Richard Seymour ... I wouldn't take any other defense in the entire leauge over them when you look at the way Baltimore and Pittsburgh have been playing |

seymour isn't coming back , there is no pass rush , surely you understand moss is not the same player he was back in '98 , surely you understand chris carter was an all time WR on the other side of the field , robert smith was a stud out of ohio st , culpepper was healthy at this point and did what he had to do this defense just doesn't have a difference maker and that will be the difference pats will win the east , maybe win a game or two in the playoffs , but , the defense will not hold up over 3 games , even if moss goes off |

Culpepper was in college at Central Florida when that team was great. Jeff George was the Vikes starting qb the following year - he won a playoff game and played in a pro bowl. Culpepper was the starter of the 2000 Vikes team. |
