If they cancel, I sure hope they do so before I get on the plane Sunday morning...

I just heard the track is officially closed tomorrow, but is still open for Sunday as of now.

Just spoke with Sal Sinatra at PHA regarding Sunday.

The threshold for cancellations is 6" of snow. If they get more than 6" they will cancel and less than that, they'll run.

Does this mean that if they get 6 inches Saturday they will close Sunday as well?

I think so. 6" is the cutoff point where they need to plow snow rather than scrape it off. And I guess if they use the plows, it's more involved getting the track in raceday shape.

Overall, it don't look too good.

And... on top of everything else, Chuck got to Philly from Florida wearing a windbreaker.

Thanks. At least we should know Saturday one way or the other. I also wonder if the Jockeys would ride regardless. Let's hope for some sun.

In case anyone is still coming, the Holiday Inn is above average for a Holiday Inn, and supposedly the Red Roof Inn is a deathtrap. FYI
