He ran wll on Poly and if that tendency, like grass ability is comething his foals could inherit, he could do OK. He's got a ton of family. I wonder who will be breeding to him.

most of them are too high. pioneerof the nile immediately comes to my mind when thinking of the subject. what's col john starting at-i bet he's overpriced as well.
when the phone doesn't ring, it'll go down. but yeah, he has an impeccable pedigree. but a lot of horses have nice bloodlines, and are standing in obscurity for next to nothing. |

The US-based first-year sires for next year is a below average. The foreign line-up (Sea the Stars etc.) is stronger. When there's a weak line-up you can take a shot with some of them at a higher stud fee.

Because the market is so bad, maybe we'll see more horses stay in training. If so, I'm not shocked that it's a poor bunch entering stud this year.
