ok they would be

5-5

rivers , schaub , warner would have caused the vikings to lose twice to the packers , they would have lost to the 49ers and they would have lost to the ravens ,yup sure , next your going to tell me that these 3 guys with AP and that defense would have lost today to the seahawks and maybe would have lost to the rams and lions as well , oops i forgot the browns would have beaten them too on opening day

favre has played well i'm just not convinced he is the reaason they are 9-1 , i think you could be 6-7 qb's on this team with AP and have them 8-2 at worst

the schedule has been a complete joke , no cold weather games yet either , will see

it's all subjective , there are no facts because the other qb's play for other teams , so i guess rivers , warner , schub would be 0-10 with this team

Its all speculative which means your argument carries no weight. There are a million variables that come into play that your little mind isnt considering. Could Rivers or Schaub come into this situation and won over the team the way favre did? Could they have adjusted to the players on the field and built chemistry so quickly? Could they have adapted to playing in a completely different system so quickly? Could they have won over the fans the same way? Could Warner have adjusted to not having a big time receiver in his arsenal? He didnt look so good in New York or at the end in St louis when he wasnt throwing to studs. Could he have adjusted? Who is to say any one of them doesnt just come out and play uncharacteristically bad for a couple of those games? Who is to say they don't lose one or two of those games and the bounces start going the other way. Pitt just lost to kc...cincy just lost to oakland...upsets happen in the NFL.

None of your silly speculation takes any of these factors into account. Its impossible to measure. Thats why its STUPID to speculate. GET IT?

fact is who have the vikings beaten that is really any good? how many of the 9 wins have come against a team with a winning record - exactly 2 - the packers, fact is they have one of the eaiser schedules to date in the league , it gets a little harder in the next 6 weeks , we will see how he does

Perhaps. And perhaps he won't play as well in the next six weeks. Or maybe he keeps it up. My point isn't that he is the greatest QB of all time or even the best in the NFL. The only thing that I maintain is that he is having a GREAT season and that his play puts him amongst the NFL elite...thus far.

I dont care what your schedule is-this is the NFL. You throw for 21 tds and 3 picks and you are having a great season any way you cut it. It is foolish to argue that.

I'm quite dumbfounded. What Favre is doing is amazing. He's also pissing me off that f'n ball hog!!! LOL! No way Jackson or Rosenfels equal what Favre is doing.

He is having a fantastic year. You would think at some point he has to start throwing some ints. Right now he is playing like a top 5 QB and could possibly be the MVP if the season ended today. He is having a fantastic season. As a packer fan I still know that the correct decision was made by the pack, because he would not be having that season behind our o-line, but with a great line and a great RB and some young talented WRs he is putting together a remarkable year.
