You received a tax cut, already in paychecks, this spring, from this administration.

Yes, there are two wars, and yes, a finish line is showing in Iraq. That's exactly what Obama was elected to do.

and what is going to happen next year (2011) to everyone ?????

Regarding the expiration of the Bush tax cuts? I don't know. Do you?

Are we just supposed to go ahead and blame Obama now for "something" that may or may not happen in the future, but we know we don't like ?

it's going to happen , that was part of the campaign promoise to roll back all the bush tax cuts .....all rates will go back to there 2001 levels , that means every working american will pay a higher tax rate in 2011 than in 2010

Campaign promises are certainly a reason not to vote for someone, but blaming someone for a campaign promise being fullfilled, over a year before the subject of whether it will be fulfilled or not will even come up, seems a bit anticipatory.

ok on jan 1 2011 the bush tax cuts expire and everyone's rates go back to the 2001 level. are we to believe in 2010 that the president will send a new proposal to the house which would extend the bush tax cuts beyond 2010 ? will obama ask nancy pelosi to not let the tax rates go back to the '01 levels or will he just let them expire in '10 ? his campaign promise was to let all the bush tax cuts expire and when jan 1 '11 hits everyone in america who works will have a higher tax rate

what do you think riot , if you were in charge should the tax rates all go back to '01 levels ?

I don't know. Obama has continued alot of Bush policies (to the unhappiness of many of those who have elected him). But the economy is far different now than it was anticipated to be during the campaign. We'll see what happens next year.

Nope. But I've never liked the specificity of some of Bush's tax cuts, I'd probably alter that. I've always been in favor of a flat tax system, myself.

another fabrication , obama himself said we dug ourselves a hole that was not going to be fixed overnight but would take at least a few years
